Thanksgiving is already upon us. Unbelievable. Time really does flu when you’re having fun.
So while many bloggers, authors, speakers, and the like are prompting you to think about what you are grateful for, I am going to do the opposite. While I hardly ever take the position of a negative Nancy or Debbie downer, I think there is a lot to be learned on this holiday that we are ignoring.
Ok, ok, we can start with being thankful. So what are you thankful for? Your family, house, friends, food, clothes, job, blah, blah blah. This shit is boring to me, honestly. If you’re going to make a grateful list go deep and meaningful. Be selfish. Be honest. Are you secretly in love with your thighs? Maybe your ability to speed read? Give some of your quirky characteristics some love today. And then let’s move on to what you hate…
For many of us Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the holiday season. When I think of the holiday season I think about indulgences and then trying to lose 5 pounds starting Jan 1. The new year is all about making changes for the better. But why wait? What would happen if you got a head start? OMG, what if you started NOW?? Ahhh.. crazy thought.
Put a list together of the things that you are NOT grateful for. And then come up with 3-5 ways that you can turn each “thing” around. Start today. Don’t wait for New Years to make a change.
In fact, if you are one of those people (like me) who is ready to make a change today, who is fed up, and wants to be grateful for her thighs, then book your complimentary 20 minute breakthrough session with me today. Click here to learn more.
