How is it that something as personal as self love becomes such a “should” way of life?
Here are the ways to love yourself (says the article on BuzzFeed)
– take baths daily
– meditate
– hydrate
– journal for hours
– masturbate for days
– exercise
– set up good boundaries (but don’t make anyone hate you)
Um.. what? Ok, I don’t actually know if this article exists or not BUT I’m sure it does and I’m even more sure that you know what I’m talking about.
Society has even put CONDITIONINGS on how we love ourselves (!!!!)
Here’s the thing … I could probably take a loo at your moon sign and give you some tips and tricks to nurture your body, mind, and spirit BUT none of that shit will work until you trust yourself to lead the way.
Why do men love confident women? Why do business owners love confident employees? Why do you adore your confident bestie?
… because confident people trust THEMSELVES. They trust their truth, they trust their path, they trust their ambition, they trust their intuition, they trust their bodies, their minds, and their souls. They don’t spend 20 minutes doubting and rationalizing before taking action.
Nope.
Confidence trusts.
If you are seeking to be more confident, being trusting the niggles and nudges NO MATTER WHAT. Even if you are wrong, especially if you are wrong. Trust it anyway.
Trust your body to tell you how it desires to be nurtured, to be loved. Trust your soul to seek out those activities that will make her feel heard, seen, and loved.
THAT is how you increase your confidence.
