1. Drink warm water with lemon or 1 drop of lemon/grapefruit essential oil right when you wake up. Important for hydrating, invigorating your system, detoxing, and getting that colon working. If ya know what I mean.
2. Follow this simple 2 minute routine every morning
30 seconds: jog in place and repeat “today will be a good day”
15 seconds: push-ups “today I am as strong as ever”
15 seconds: squats “today I only see the good”
Repeat.
3. Take the sugar out of your coffee. Drink it black. Use coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk. Doing this will reduce sugar cravings later in the day as well.
4. Skip the bagel or donut and try something different for breakfast. Like this strawberry chia pudding or this sweet morning quinoa.
5. On your way to work, practice deep breathing. At every red light, stop (of course), and practice deep breathing through your nose and out your mouth. Clear your mind of incessant thoughts and just breathe.
